Wyatt at 2 weeks

Hello all of my faithful fans! Wyatt here, just dropping in on my blog to say thanks to everyone for letting my parents know how cute I am... Keep reminding them of that for me! They need those reminders after an all-nighter of intermitent crying and fussy spells. Sometimes I just like to cry for no reason in the middle of the night, I'm a baby, what can I say?
So, other than that life is good. Although I sleep most of the time, probably due to all the crying and partying I do at night, I still get out and around a few times a day. Mommy and Dady take me on walks in the stroller or sling or carrier - they seem to have a lot of baby gear! And the dogs like to lick me, which kind of makes me smell like dog breath but that is nothing compared to the odor I can generate in my diaper. Mommy says I am a master-pooper and exceed all expections on how many dirty diapers a newborn baby can generate. I feel honored to be so good at something this soon in life.
Here are some more pictures of me from this week:

The Life of Wyatt

At 12 days old Wyatt has already established a busy and exhausting (obviously, from all the pics of him sleeping) social schedule. Mostly he enjoys...

Wyatt at 1-Week

We can barely believe that Wyatt is one week old today! He is doing really well and although the feeding is a bit painful (for me, not him) it is going okay and Wyatt is gaining weight and filling diapers like nobody's business. Here are a more pictures of our adorable little boy...

Needless to say we are truly in love with this new little man in our lives. He is completely perfect in every way, very healthy, eating great, and we can't stop holding and loving on him. The whole family is now at home and getting settled. We will write more soon but for now here are a few more pics of Wyatt...

He's Here !!!!!

Well, after 41 long weeks and 25 hours of labor our little bundle of joy has finally arrived. Wyatt James Morrison was born on Oct 8, 2008 at 1:14 am weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz and he is 20 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great and we can't wait for all of our friends and family to meet him.

40 weeks

Our October 1st Due Date has come and gone and no baby yet :( Only one day overdue now, but it's still a little disappointing since we have been so anxious and excited for his arrival. The doctor says that things are just progressing very slowly, which is not uncommon for a first mother and baby. Niether of us really know what to do.

The plan for now is that if nothing happens over the weekend we'll go into the hospital Monday night, October 6th, to start the process of getting induced. It will be a long weekend with sleepless nights but there is a light at the end of the tunnel and our baby will be here soon... and then we'll have a whole new kind of sleepless nights. In the meantime I am still trying to remain active. I have been walking as much as possible, trying to help things move along but in the last few days there have been some new pains and discomforts. I've just got this big baby in my belly now and simple tasks have become difficult. I'm just trying to remind myself that its only a matter of days now.
